On 7/26 Lily still weight 6.6, so the dr. told me to up my fat. Yummy whole milk is now a staple and I can eat all the ice cream that I want! Back to the dr. on 7/28 and Lily is now up to 6.10. The dr. is very happy with her gain and she is doing great. She lost her umbilical cord on Tuesday 7/27. We are looking forward to giving her her first official bath this weekend. Today is my 34th birthday. I had a great day. Very low key. Took Lily for a walk to Starbucks and treated myself to a $4 yummy coffee drink. Ryan surprised me with beautiful roses... just a perfect day. Sorry all these pics are kinda a mess. I wanted to make sure they got up. Enjoy and hope that my future posts are more frequent.

On Saturday, we took Lily for a walk at the lake. Pap Pap Rick was with us, and our friend Darius meet us. It was a beautiful day. Lily is very happy in the baby ergo. She also enjoys her stroller. Every time we have been out for walks, she is very happy.

On July 22nd, we took her to her first drs appointment. She now weights 6lbs, 6oz.

July 20th, going home!! Today Lily weights 6lbs, 7oz.

Our attempt of taking some newborn shots. Good thing that we had some professional pictures taken.

Silly daddy!!

Grandma is very happy to be able be here for the birth of her first grand baby!! I think that she held her every chance she got!!

Proud Parents!!

Here she is, born at 7:09am, 6lbs 12oz, 20 in. long, July 18th, 2010. I had a wonderful delivery. They started my cervidel at about 7ish pm, dilated to a 1, and by 10ish I was about a 2 or 3. My contractions were lasting more than a minute, with no breaks between them. They removed the cervidel and gave me some pain meds. I slept until about midnight, and at that point, I was already a 3-4. The dr. told me to call Ryan, that things were moving very fast. They gave me my epidural and both Ryan and I were able to get a few more hours of sleep. 6am, I was a 10!! I pushed for about 25mins, and at 7:09am, Lily Dianne made her grand appearance. I feel very blessed that I had such an easy delivery. I thank the drugs for that!! (During the middle of the night, I heard two women screaming bloody murder in the halls, giving birth w/o drugs. I think they are crazy!!) My dr. actually missed the delivery, usually induction take a little longer than mine did. But it all worked out. Now we have a beautiful perfect baby girl!!

Here I am, all drugged up and ready for Lily!! This was sometime in the middle of the night.

The night before, July 17th, wearing my favorite baby baby shirt for the last time!! Can't wear this w/o Lily in my tummy!
